Interior Design
As the link that connects architecture to the user, interior design has a powerful purpose. Interior environments and the people who inhabit them form a symbiotic relationship. CB Design interior design connects with the user at a personal, tactile, and experiential level, transforming spaces into places that become a haven for people to heal, work, and a venue for discovery. Life Safety
Our in-house life safety/code experts work closely with the design team from the first phases of conceptual design through construction. This provides timely, cost-effective, and value-added solutions that mitigate budget and schedule risk. As a result, our projects are better coordinated, code compliant, safer, and more functional.
Construction Administration
Our staff is uniquely qualified to provide comprehensive CA services that cater to our clients’ needs and budgets. Our staff has the experience both in design and construction that ensures every project is being constructed according to the contract documents and following the design intent. With a collaborative process we provide our clients expert representation while keeping lines of communication open between the design and construction team. CB Design Group provides supervision and related services to coordinate projects with owners, design professionals, and contractors to help facilitate their successful and timely completion.
Broad Experience and a Proven Track Record
With more than four decades of combined experience working for one of the DC metropolitan area’s top 15 architecture firms, the founders of CB Design Group have a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges that exist when designing public architecture. The owners of CB Design Group have more than 70 years of combined experience in all aspects of the design and management of complex public projects.
We have a proven track record of projects designed and constructed within the owner’s budget, delivered on time in accordance with the owner’s schedule and with little–to–no construction change orders resulting from design issues. We are proud to be entrusted by our clients as good stewards of public funds and take this role very seriously as we work with the team to develop the design and documentation.
